Description
Draw an image, copy it three times and colour each differently/with different colours.
This is the first in a series of many, many drawings for a art challenge table I found on *muura's journal here: [link] . You can see a table I made on my Livejournal here: [link] (there's also an HTML code at the bottom in case you want to put it on your own journal or something).
This drawing was heavily influenced by ~ichigopixiwings, who taught me how to play the twelve bar blues on her guitar the other day! Awesome.
About the drawing(s) themselves: The top left, obviously, is just the initial sketch and lineart with purple. As for the coloring, I decided to use a different color scheme for each one.
The upper right is the first one I did, and the simplest as well - for the beginning, I just decided to use the easiest color scheme I knew, and also the one that I am most familiar with.
The second one I colored, the beige and teal one, was a test on how well I could mix colors semi-realistically. I think it came out pretty well.
The last, bottom left, was a strange experiment. I actually did give the composition some thought and I rather like how it came out. Strange indoor lighting and pretty psychedelic-looking.
CRITIQUE ENCOURAGED. RIP IT APART PLEASE.
