So... those of you who grew up in the nineties will remember a certain game featuring various little mons that you can capture, collect and trade. There was even a card game, and an anime. Within the anime was a much beloved character that was the rival of the main character.

His name was Gary Oak.

Unbeknownst to some who have stopped following the Pokemon anime, after suffering a defeat at Ash's hands, Gary decided to give up competitive battling and become a pokemon professor like his grandfather instead. However, unlike his grandfather and pretty much every single other professor, he is smokin' hot - which led to this drawing.

EDIT: Pokemon Professors in order of hottest to ugliest:

1. Gary Oak This one obviously requires no explanation.
2. Professor Oak He's hot in a charming middle-aged man kind of way, and he's pretty fit too. Also, smart and influential. Who doesn't want a smart and influential man?
3. Professor Birch He is the outdoorsy type, likes hiking and things, and looks very muscular. I bet he's hiding a beautiful buff bod underneath that baggy shirt and lab coat.
4. Professor Rowan Obviously way past his years, it is unlikely that he'll be able to keep it up for more than one round. However, he is very gentlemanly and his sideburns are awesome, and was obviously quite a looker in his younger days.
5. Professor Elm He is, by far, the ugliest of all of the pokemon professors. If there were a sliding scale of pokemon professor hotness, he'd be down at 10 instead of 5. Despite being the youngest sans Gary, he is already showing premature male balding patterns. His haircut and big nerd glasses only add to his dorkiness, and honestly the look of one having spent too much time inside doesn't do him any favors.

I cannot count the hours which this drawing took. It was a very involved work, and getting the posing correct was a pain in the ass. Still, it was definitely a learning experience.
